Public Engagements
Kristen Alff combines her love for language, literature, history, and teaching in her public life. She gives frequent talks and interviews on her ongoing research. Kristen Alff has volunteered for translation work with non-profit organizations, such as Tahrir Documents. Her public teaching spans from Virginia to Boston. Some of her favorite teaching opportunities were at the Political Economy Project Summer Institute (George Mason University) and the Intergenerational Literacy Project in Chelsea Public Schools (Boston, MA). Alff’s work has been mentioned in public history and art history forms, such as the online art history magazine, Momus.
